WALK TALK CHALK

Through the art of WALKing, TALKing & CHALKing we’ll reclaim the urban realm.

Together we will reflect on Cork City’s decaying beauty, hidden heritage & wasted resources, in context of the politics of everyday life. In doing so we’ll challenge false & damaging narratives while exploring the potential for a city that works for everyone.

#WALKTALKCHALK is a perfect way to explore the city centre while connecting with like-minded people.

We are lifelong activists who use art & design to fight for social, environmental & economic justice. We’ve been based in Cork City, Ireland since 2018.

We believe in co-creating a society where everyone has a home, a place to play, create & access to just, fair & meaningful work. In essence this is what we work towards every day.

#WALKTALKCHALK is one of our many direct actions that promote positive social change while building & empowering communities.

We are also co-instigators of the phenomenon that is #DerelictIreland, a self-organising grassroots movement that has been credited with changing culture, practice, policy & how people protest in Ireland. Our original dereliction walking tours & festivals have been a central component of the success of #DerelictIreland.

Our artivism has gained widespread national & international media coverage including being featured in The New York Times in 2024.
