Abandon Shandon

This route will focus on the smaller laneways and streets of historic Shandon.

We will meet at the centre of Shandon Footbridge.  You won’t miss us in our hard hats and white lab coats.

The route contains a lot of steep hills and steps. It is not wheelchair accessible and may be difficult if you have mobility challenges.

Bookings can be cancelled up to three days in advance; however, we will retain a €5 administration fee. Bookings can be rescheduled for free, please email us ffud@ffud.art to arrange.

All tours are weather dependent, so when conditions are too bad, we will have to reschedule. In that situation you will be offered an opportunity to move to a new date or a refund minus the €5 admission fee.

If we have to cancel or reschedule a tour for any other it reason we will you offer you a full refund or an opportunity to move to a new date.

Modern Ruins

This route will focus on the southern medieval quarter of Cork City and its modern ruins.  

We will meet at the junction of North Main St., Castle St. and Liberty St., aka Paradise Place. You won’t miss us in our hard hats and white lab coats.

The route is flat and wheelchair accessible.

This route will focus on a part of Cork City that is full of large landbanks, where some of the most important heritage in the city has been left rot for decades, an area the developers and authorities want you to forget about.

We will meet at the Merchant’s Quay end of Mary Elmes Bridge. You won’t miss us in our hard hats and white lab coats.

The route is flat and wheelchair accessible.
